water dragons...long

reptilefreak16 Feb 06, 2004 02:14 PM

I had a chinese water dragon when i was younger. Had him for two years and sadly died. The reason i dont know but could have been lack of experience and being young. I am older now(obviously) and have beend keeping several species of geckos(golden, crested, leo) But now i seriously want to get another water dragon. They are such a cool lizard. The one i had before would love to take a bath and swim around, he also was very tame and would sleep in my hand or shoulder. I have a large tank that has nothin in it. Its something like 46 gallon. Where can i buy another water dragon??breeders? I am seriously ready now, and have the money for food, lights, health care, as with all of my herps. Thanks

46 gallon??
As far as I know that's too small.
How big is it in inches?

a 46 gallon is just to start out with a young dragon. I plan on builiding a large custom cage for one.

The sapphire dragon ranch has cb. green dragons. Agama international has aussie water dragons cb. as well. There is a high mortality rate with wc. baby greens, If I was gong to buy a dragon I would definately pay the extra money for captive bred. Goodluck, clint.
