03 male gray banded Kingsnakes

sammyq Feb 06, 2004 05:39 PM

I am about to purchase 2.1 Reverse trio grey banded kingsnakes. The seller says that the males are brumated because they went off feed. Is this normal? Also what does reverse trio mean? He wants 150 for the trio.

Reverse trio means 2 males and 1 female rather than 1 male and 2 females.
It is normal for adults to stop feeding in the late fall or early winter and sometimes babies do also. Grey Bands are sometimes hard to get to feed but if you are dealing with a reputable person and he says they were feeding before you should have no problem geting them to feed again in the spring.
Grey Bands are the greatest and you should have no problem finding help should you need it. Good luck. RG
