Put up posters and let people (like the Animal Control and SPCA or Humane Society) know she is missing. THey can return, but most iguanas as released intentionally and people will suspect this if you don't let people know you are looking for her.

You might want to add to the poster that it isn't dangerous and to approach it slowly. some people might freak out if they see a big lizard near them. They might think it's an alligator. Good luck and I hope you find your iggy.

My big girl, Tahra, ran away from her previous owner and was gone for 3 months!!! We live way out in the country and the thought of ever finding Tahra after the first few days was daunting. But three months later there she was, sitting in a tree in the back yard! Not to mention that during those 3 months the temps droped way below what she should have been able to survive in, so there is hope.

Thanks for all your help I am going to post the posters. I called the humane society and they weren't happy at all but they say that they will keep an eye to see if someone calls and complaints. They say hat they can't go looking for her, but I will thanks again,
Daniel
