Weesing???

rich-k Feb 06, 2004 07:00 PM

My ball python is not quite weesing but when he sits on my shoulder and his head is close to my ear I can hear him breath. Is this a respitory infection that I have heard a lot of or nothing to worry about? Besides raising the temperature is there anything else I can do?

Ensure that the humidity levels are at an appropriate level. Try to maintain them at about 75% and if you think it is a repsiratory infection then bump them up to the mid 80's. I personally think that if it is only audible when he is right up to your ear then it is just him breathing but monitor it over the next few days and watch for more symptoms. Todd
