Growth Spurts

Is it my imagination, or do BP's grow in spurts? My '03 has had a bit of extra space in his favorite hide (downright roomy). Then today, he's wedging himself in there.

He seems to stay the same for a few weeks, then all of a sudden, I notice changes. Anuone else notice such a thing?
