little white wood mites

have any of you guys that use woo,cypress mulch,cocanut husk,bedabeast, ever run into the white wood mites?

yup... I think they like humidity, my skinks have 'em bad. They don't hurt anything.

we see those once in a while in a batch of substrates. i either toss out the substrate or hit it with Black Knight.

Putting the mulch in the oven for 30 minutes at 350F will kill anything that might be alive in it . Disposable aluminum turkey pans work great for baking the mulch.
