paint for DIY wooden hood

blackthorne67 Feb 06, 2004 10:30 PM

I've been workng on a hood for a 29 gallon tall. I'm getting pretty close to being done except for the wiring of the lights, but i'm unsure on how to seal the inside of the hood. Since it is made out of wood I was thinking about painting it and then using an epoxy or some kind of wood sealer. I was hoping some of you guys might recommend a specific method that works well without being toxic. If I ever figure out how to hook up my camera to my laptop ill try to post some pictures of the work in progress. This brings up another question, where is a good, free place to post pictures online. Thanks for any replies.

You can post pics here for free. Also do you have a glass lid under the wood one? You should if oyu do not.

I did nothing more than paint the hood I made.
