I was thinking about getting a bearded dragon and had a few questions.Ok first of all are they hard to take care of.I would also like to know if they are expensive to maintain.
Any help would be apreciated

Getting a beardie takes alot of preperation, you need to do extensive research on them to make sure you are able to fully meet all there needs and know what those needs are. They take time just like a dog or cat would maybe even more so but when taken care of properly they can be the most rewarding pet to have. Maintaining a bearded dragon isnt that much but the initail cost is alot getting a proper size cage, lights, decorations, food, and supplements etc can rack up the bucks in the begining, the best advice I have is to do your homework then decide if you have the time, space, and money to take care of a beardie.

when i was thinking about it i done the research on the care then went down to my local reptile specialist and seen how much it would cost me for the lizard and its viv (with all heating and lighting). also priced food and suppliments.
once i had worked out the price and was convinced i could put in the effort required and afford it fully i went for it

what i did was i found out when a reptile show owuld be coming up, like in about 3 months, and then told myself i was not allowed to get one until then, and spent those three months, reading all up about them, reading ppls posts here, getting supplies asi saw them go on sale..but yea they do make great pets
