Weak baby redtail boa????

jayskee Jun 08, 2003 08:44 AM

I have a baby boa, That when i bought him he was strong gripping and firm. No since like the last month he is weaker than normal . He still holds on and wraps but not all the time like a snake should. My ball pythons are always have a firm grip. Every once and a while I hear a popping noise from his mouth. I was wonderimg could a respitory infection cause his body to be weaker than it should be. He also eats one appropriate sized mouse a week. He also has runny stools. Can anybody please help ????Thanks.......... Joe

the runny stools could be parasites or the result of F/T pinkies. The clicking noise is most likely a respitory infection and should be treated by a qualified vet. What are your temps like?
