One determined king

I had got my brooks out of her cage and put her into her feeding container. She was cruising it twitching cuz she smelt previous meals. Anyway, i had just dryed off a mouse, and held its tail in a pair of pliers and opened the container. She has a good deal of her body up and sees the food, launches, coils around it in a flash, and hits the counter. I thought for an instant that she would be fine eating on the counter but she rolled over and fell off, i didnt catch her in time. Luckily we have a mat on the floor. She doesnt let go, and i realize there is ant spray on the ground, but its supposed to be animal safe, but i thought i shouldnt risk it. I try picking her up, she hisses and shakes her tail, and of course, musks. So i scoop her into her container. This whole time, she doesnt stop devouring the mouse. Now a great deal of snakes would let go and turn tail after that kind of thing, but she just ate it and wanted more. I know kings are for the most part voracious eaters, but good grief, they are greedy little pigs.

of flying brooksi! many times they don't care where they end up- just grab the meal and worry about everything else later.
