It sure is that time of year!

Thought I'd share; this is the first overt breeding behavior I've seen going on this year, I'm very excited about it! The female garden phase is a CB animal I've had since she was a juvenile; she had her first clutch with me last year, hopefully this will lead to a second. The coppery looking male is a WC animal, as early as last year I believe, I recieved him and another last July. Interestingly, he was probed both by myself and my friend, and both of us determined him to be a female. I guess just goes to show there's no better sex determiner than nature! I'm not complaining, though... I love the unique look of the male, and I think these guys will have some sweet little ones.
