I would love it! I'm in MN where not only is it the daXX arctic right now, but we don't have ANY herp shows either!

I've never been to a show, I'd love to go to this one, and meet Kathy and Don and all those other "bigwigs" that got me into this hobby to begin with, with their pretty pictures and talk about how great corns are

I'd never own a "hot" snake, but I'd love to see the Hot show too. If I was braver, had more knowledge, and no kids, I'd probably want Hot's. For this life anyway, all I can do is look at them with amazement

At least come to the Chicago show in Oct. It is very nice and large (but not nearly as large as Daytona) and not THAT far. You could always carpool with some other local herpers.

I'll be at both! I really hate the MN never has any. The biggest thing we get is the herp societies meetings, and I can't even get someone to go with me to that! lol
I need to meet more snake lovers!

Too far away for Daytona or Chicago~ but I'm about 20 min from Anaheim! Already marked it on my Calendar, Sept 11 and 12! Already scoped out the current vendor list! Gonna be fun for us West Coasters who have felt so left out!!

I'll tell you what...I'm a good 6 hour drive from LA but if you are going to be there I will find a babysitter for the weekend and take Friday off. It's right after my Birthday anyway so I deserve a present. I would love to meet you, and see a larger show for the first time.

I think that I would be in "Heaven" if I could go to Daytona, and meet all of the people I have only spoken with. I definately would have to take a ton of cash, as I know that I would have to come home with some of the gorgeous snakes that I only see pics of.
As far as hots go, I know what you mean Icedgoddess, we do have local shows here every couple of months where they allow hots. I actually have a friend very close to me that keeps some hots. (cobras, rattlers, and vipers) I love to go to his house and just look at them, but I don't think that I would ever be brave enough to keep one in my house.
