hey guys
next friday im leaving to go on a trip, and wont return til monday. what should i do about feeding my leo? i know not to put alot of crickits in there at a time because that will stress him out. has anyone had this happen to them? what did you do?

Hi,
as I have been told, 3 days should not be aproblem. feed them the day you go away and it should be fine, as long as theres water, til monday. I also wondered this, as i went away at christmas on monday and came home friday. But my leo was fine, adn she was (is) still a baby/juvi. I just fed her the day & left and the day I came back, she looked just the same when i came home!
So i wouldnt worry..
Plus, some people feed every second day anyways, so 3 shouldnt be a problem

Or you could just get someone you trust to come over and drop like 4 crickets into its cage and then come back in an hour and take out the remaining crickets to reduce stress.

Do you feed mealies???
Thats really the easiest way.
Even when I dont go away I ussually fill the mealie bowl and leave it for 2-3 days anyways. That way there are always more mealies moving aroudn to catch their attention and they can eat whenever they want.
I would just leave a bowl full of mealies in for them.
Dont leave crix in the tank.
