Daniel Bennett's talk was truely awe-inspiring. I found it to be incredibly enjoyable. Hopefully he will get some more support after that presentation he did last night.
For those people that didn't know about the talk, Daniel discussed some things from his book, "The savannah monitor lizard, the truth about Varanus exaanthematicus" which included ecology and the problem of importation for the pet trade. Then, he took a turn and talked about one of his other projects, The Grays monitor lizard. One of the few monitor lizard that lives on a diet of fruits and snails. Absolutely fasicinating.
For more info, you can check out Daniel's site http://www.mampam.com or the NCHS site http://www.norcalherp.com
I just cannot believe I was rewarded by seeing his presentation. It was wonderful. Thanks again NCHS.
