I was wondering where would be a good place to buy reptiles online. I've been looking at a few places but, for the time being I'm unsure. Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks

It depends on WHAT you're buying. It can be pretty hit and miss sometimes, I've been burned more than once. If you know anything specific you're looking for (lizards included) then I might be able to point you to someone decent.

"The serpent crams itself with animal life that is often warm and vibrant, to prolong an existence in which we detect no joy and no emotion. It reveals the depth to which evolution can sink when it takes the downward path and strips animals to the irreducible minimum able to perpetuate a predatory life in its naked horror."

I recommend working with Andy at Turtlepimp.com
I just bought 2 Texas Maps from him, and they were shipped the day after I bought them, and arrived healthy and active.
If you don't see what you want on his site, email him - He is awesome, and honest

Although I have seen turtle specialists swear by several other dealers, for a GENERAL dealer of multiple herp species, I can recommend Glades Herp (gherp.com) as always reliable, honest, and knowledgeable. They are not always the cheapest (of course transportation fees will probably cost you almost as much as the animals you mention) but they have a wide variety and I have visited their shop in Ft.Myers (they also sell locally as a pet shop) many times and can attest to good care.
I have had bad experience with Glades sending the wrong species and sending the animal to the wrong place. I try to avoid Glades if possible because many of there animals are wild caught. You should be able to find captive bred animals for the turtles you are looking for. Especially if you are looking for boxes or sulcattas, go to turtlehomes.org. It is a turtle adoption agency and boxies are going to be some of the more common turtles. You will have to fill out an application and go through a screening process, but it should be worth any time you invest.
Nearly every dealer has some dissatisfied customers and sometimes falls short of expectations. Over many years, Glades has been the most consistent in my experience with many suppliers. As for wild caught, there are many species that just cannot be obtained as captive-bred. If you are a purist on captive breeding, more power to you, but there are many species that are just not commercially feasible or possible to breed.
FYI, I don't recommend shipping this time of year.

A truly resonsible dealer will evaluate the local conditions in your area (with your help) and hold off until successful shipment is feasble (usually with heat packs this time of year).
