WC are just not worth the hassel, especially sub-adults to adults. In general they won't eat for you and if they finally decide to, it will be sporatic at best.

Getting them to breed for you is a different story all together.

I'm currently in the process of swaping out all of my WC or CH animals for CBB animals.

Thanks

In my opinion it depends on the person purchasing the ball and how much time they are willing and able to devote to it. If you have the ability, resources, or experience treating and caring for them, they are a great investment because they not only bolster the current blood lines and decrease the extensive inbreeding they also can produce new morph offspring.

Wild caught animals are notorious for being poor breeders and overall poor performers when compared to CBB. Another reason for CBB is that you are not removing animals from the wild that may be laden with parasites and worse for the wear on the ride over here. Farm raised are even worse than WC in that they take gravid females, wait for eggs, and then throw the poor things out once they have laid in very poor condition and not in a familiar location. Best is to go CBB. There are many inexpensive captive born babies everywhere from reliable breeders.
