Need some INFO

I live near Bowling Green, Ohio and was wondering if there are any places around here about 1 hour or so away that I can buy bearded dragons? I hate buying them off of the net because of the shipping costs, so please help me out.

I was afraid of the same thing, but I decided to go with a very reputable breeder and after much research and many conversations with them about the particular dragon I was getting I felt very confident about buying a dragon from them. It is worth it to go to a breeder who really cares and raises quailty animals. The cost of the animal and the shipping are small peanuts when you figure you will have this companion for 10 or more years. Don't skimp when buying a baby, we hear too many horror stories. There are a lot of very conscientious breeders on this forum (and there may well be one near you in Ohio, I don't know) but don't rule out those who ship. I would not have my amazing, sweet, healthy dragon if I did.

Some breeder recs.:

Fire and Ice Dragons (where I got my dragon)

Beardiedragon.com (Bennett is awesome and has BEAUTIFUL babies!)

beginnerbasics.com (Lisa raises cricket free babies who are very sweet and social)

DeKeAffexotics.com (Really nice dragons. Big and healthy. They currently have some adults and young adults available as well)

Tracey's Beardies (Tracey is a great source of knowledge and has some really sweet dragons. Great pets)

There are a lot more that I am sure I am forgetting, but I will blame it on the cold medicine .

Here is a picture of my baby, Fuego, at 5 months. He is about to shed so he looks kind of gray and ratty, but he is a great pet!! He just LOVES the forum!!
