Yesterday I made hour trip to Austin, Tx in search of some Cresteds. I went to 2 different pet stores, and nothing. I went to a third while I was leaving and walked around for about an hour before finally deciding to leave. I was half way out the door when I thought I would just ask to see if they had any. To my surprise, they said they had two and they would sell them to me for $34.95, for both. Needless to say, I am now the owner of the two juvenile Cresteds. The deal was too good to pass up. I don't think the place knew what they were doing, I saw a plate full of lettuce and carrots in there with them. I got them home last night and gave them some crickets and some 'tutti fruity' baby food and they are loving it.

Good luck with your new cresteds. They are lucky that you found them. Along the same lines a pet store around me have a crested and feed it crickets nearly it's size and reasently started feeding CGD but they don't add water. It's in a dish dry. But they won't listen, what do I know. Again good luck.
