first off i have read the previous post i liked it, i disliked it, and it was so-so, i am not going to blast anyone for their opinion, they are entitled to it, so this is mine and mine only, ok i myself and many others have come to kingsnake for advise on differnt repltile questionsi personaly like that there is a place to get opinions and answers to them, because no one can hold all the knowlage in the world, imposible, i totaly dilike the fact that one person feels that they are able to inform someone new to hot's as, (for lack of better wording), you are to stupid to have hot's", it is b.s., i personally feel that it is respect for the animal world and responsiblity levels that determine if someone should get a hot snake or not, if you are going to be an idiot then no you should probably not get any animal cat, dog, snake, ect, as to everything with a mouth can and will bite,as to what is the best starter hot, hell i don't know that answer and neither does anyone else in this forum, my self i started with copper heads both broad bands and southerns, and rhino vipers and i know when i asked a question i got blasted by people for even asking about it, kingsnake is here because of people's love for repltiles, if you have the knowlage to inform people please be kind and answer accordingly it is our responsibility to inform so hopefully no more restrictive laws or bad publisity, or some one gets seriously hurt because someone decides to blast someone because they have a specific question that they either could not find in a book or on the web, alot lot of our info is personal experience with these animals and if kingsnake is a place to call people stupid for asking questions then so be i will start my own place to go and will restrict access to members only, my views on venumoides,(how ever you spell it), are not important for educational perposes i think that is cool for play toys forget it, any ways sorry for the long post need to get that out so hopefully people will be a little more kind as to their responces to newcomers, most likly not though, if you wanna question my credentials then go for it ask and you shall recieve, i do not hold all the answers or knowlage in this world at this point in time but someday soon i will, so until then i will continue to due my part in the world of animals, enjoy, thanks, and sorry for the long post,

lol was surprised that any one even read this, my credencials are as follows i will keep it as short as possible i have been working with both domestic and exotic animals for 27 years you name it i most likley have experience in it and if i don't i will, lmao thanks for the challange need more specifics i will post if needed thanks
