Drinking Question

FLDan Feb 07, 2004 04:39 PM

What's the best solution to satisfying chondro's water needs? A water bowl on the floor of the enclosure doesn't seem to be used.
Misting doesn't seem to be adequate. How best to hydrate?

Hello, I believe the best way to provide adequate hydration to chondros is to provide a water bowl, and spray daily. I think you may be missing your green tree going down to drink at night, sometimes I will walk in in the middle of the night and catch some of mine drinking, but they also like to drink of their coils, so I believe both opportunities should be provided. Some keepers choose to mount their water bowls as perch level, but in my experience this has been unnecessary. Hope this helps
Nick
