Hey everyone. I haven't been on here much because I am swamped with work and such. I have been trying to read all of the posts, but I don't usually have enough time to make all of the responses. You guys (and gals) are just WAY to chatty! lol. If I miss out on two days, I have an hour of reading to do! lol, I love it though.
Orion is doing WONDERFULLY! She is getting HUGE! She has shed a few times recently, and she has amazing markings. Maybe I'm just a proud mum, but I think she is one of the prettiest female panthers I've seen. She is eating lots! Sometimes twice a day for meals! She even has big poops now! Nice and white! She still just gets mealies and crix. I will try some wax and silkworms again. I hope she'll go for the silkies. I'd love to start a colony of them!
Ok, maybe this is more than a QUICK update! :P
The new cage is SOOO close to being complete. I ended up needing one more board, and I just have to wait two more days to varnish it, and then one more to put Orion in the cage. I am going to use a MVB on top for the lighting. I think it will be simpler than a bunch of different lights. Hopefully I will have some pics soon. So far I only have half decent ones, because all the film I had was 100 iso. I'll get some 400 this week, and scan some pics for you all to see. I want to show off my baby! Hopefully someone will know her locale. I'm curious to know. I think she's just a female ambanja.
I got another pet this week. I got bongo (my parakeet) a friend. She's all yellow with white cheeks, and sits like Igor all of the time! the best part is - she has red eyes! I've never seen a red eyed budgie! I had to share... Don't worry though, Orion can't see either of them. When they are out I cover her cage.
