Calcium Supplements

schoolfield Feb 07, 2004 05:47 PM

Where can I purchase Neocalglucon?

I read quite a few posts further down about providing extra calcium to females during the breeding season. Seeing that my geckos are just now coming out of the winter slow down period, and my male has started to get "curious" again, I would like to protect my females, if recommended, with extra supplementation.

Thoughts?

Ive never heard of that, what makes you wanna use that supplement specifically??
I like MinerAll(I) the I-stands for indoors, I know allot of other people also use it and recommend it, its a very complete product.

Calcium is good as well as miner-all - I think it would also be wise to feed them some pinkies or a couple waxies - you want them to be pretty hefty, as breeding takes a lot out of them.

It is also recommneded that you bring them back up to normal temps and feed them more gradually - as doing so too quickly can han adverse affects.

Good Luck
