But do the kids actually do cage cleaning? The bottom one is classic Central American but the top looks like it could be South American (Columbian?)intergrade.

yes the kids do all cleaning and caring for caa girl 6 boy 9 and they love it and not sure about the top snake if there is a way to tell would be grateful to know for sure
