I went out to te movies tonight and when i came back my parents told me that my one turtle had died. I had bought 2 turtles around august this year. One grew big but the other seemed to struggle. It became sick and i nursed it back to health and i sort of grew fond of this one in particular. to come home and find him dead really upset me. I must seem like a dick but i needed to tell someone.

*huggs* I am so sorry to hear about your turtle. Least you had him for a while, and were able to bond and help him back to health.

Any ideas on how he died?

I'm sorry to hear of your loss, you should never feel like a "dick" for posting something like this. Everyone needs someone to talk to things about (especially at times like this). I know that i'm very attached to my lil guy ( turtles are also one of my spirit guides but thats another message board completly) so if anything were to happen to him i know i would be devistated. Heres to hoping your other turtle is well and safe (((hugs)))

No way man. You always get attached to the little underdog. Especially when you nurse 'em back to health. Most likely the little guy had problems from birth and it was just a matter of time. He probably would not have survived this long if you didn't take extra special care of him. Sorry that you lost him but look at this way -- you tried to give him a good life no matter for how short a time.
