one of my Spilotes females, W.C., but treated and doing well

The only medicine useful for this female was Ivomec per os at 0,2 mg/kg: fecals are now negative!

Were there any noticeable side effects at all? I suspect that snakes with a high metabolism (and no unusual sensitivity to Ivomec) would do well on it. It has a relatively short half-life. Drymarchon are known to be hyper-sensitive to it, but I don't know of any other colubrid snakes that are. I don't think that hyper-sensitivity is related to overall metablolic rate, but rather the inability to metabolize certain compounds at all. Spilotes are more closely related to Drymobius and Coluber, I think, than they are to Drymarchon, and they are active snakes with relatively high metabolic rates.
