Books and Heat Tape?

eighteenmonther Feb 07, 2004 09:19 PM

Does anyone know of well-rounded books on keeping and breeding ball pythons? Something covering the breeding would be especially useful.

Is there a good source that still sells the classic one inch-wide heat tape in the US? I'm looking for varying lengths that have no thermostat or anything connected.

Any help is appreciated!

John

Barkers ball python book would be a good place to start. It really isn't too tough to breed them, as they are commonly bred. Just get a nice captive born and bred pair and put them together when they are the appropriate weight and size. The Barkers book gives the general information to breed balls. Hope my rambling helped.
