Sounds like one of two things:
Either you bought a "coil type" freezer that depends on freezer coils running along each shelf, in which case the shelves are iced over and this is causing the thermostat to experience a mis-read. In this scenario you need to de-ice your freezer, and then start her up again.
Or,... if you have a traditional type freezer,. you might have a freon leak or need a new compressor. Any which way you look at this scenario, it's better and probably cheaper to get a new freezer, rather than pay a couple hundred to fix an old one.
Hope this helps good buddy
>>Ok, so I bought this freezer last year just for snake food. It is in my garage, all was great. Well now all of a sudden its running but not as cold, there is still ice on the inside but I know its not cold because the fish food that was in there is not frozen. Well all of my small rats are now cold but not frozen, I assume they are no good anymore, the rabbits are still frozen, but I can press them and feel the ice move. So I assume those are no good. What do you think? I am so mad at this freezer, how could it not be working. Its running just not cold, any ideas.
