Hi to everyone, I recently aquired 2 female boas and don't know if they are bci or bcc. Could someone please help me w/ a way to tell the difference with out counting scales or is it a must?
Thank you for reading this and in advance for any help you may be able to give me...

We may be able to help you identify it.

This is one of my girls, they both look similar, the same number of markings but the other has much brighter red markings.

Thank you for the response, I know it's not a good pic. I really appreciate your help, I got her as a bci but I wasn't sure if it was correct. She only has belly spotting on the edges and the middle is pure white. What did you see that makes her look imperator? If you don't mind.

It was the color, the saddles (color, shape, number), the tail (color, shape, size ), the head (shape), and maybe more...

the color is fairly dark looking and somewhat typical in common colombians
the saddles are blocky and also rather typical of Colombians - not the blocky pattern, but the lack of a definative shape which is usually quite defined and peaked on bcc. Also, bci tend to have more saddles/overall blotches than bcc.

the tail had few blotches, rather short, and was dark and dull - all which are usually opposite if bcc.

the head looked a bit wider than most bcc - a bcc's head tends to be narrower, longer.. sometimes even just by a hair..lol

this is just my opinions from the pic

thanks, Joe
