Helmet Geckos....Is that what they are called....????

I keep hearing about these geckos and they are good to have. Where can I find them? What do they look like? Are they really good breeder and a great pet?

Yes that is their common name. Their scientific name is Geckonia chazalie. There are a couple good breeders out there. Stacey Yankee is one of them. I orginally got my breeders from her. Her website has more information about them at www.helmetedgecko.com . Also check the classifieds, there are some for sale.

The kingsnake classifieds do have them advertised quite often. Their "new" scientific name is Tarentola chazaliae. You will be able to find more information using this along with Geckonia chazaliae.
