Is there such a thing as to much basking?
Seems Austin and Aquirt love to bask (and of course they lie on each other lol) But it seems they do it for hours a day.
DIdn't know if there was ever to much?

Basking is usually what turtles do all day when theyre not looking for food. The only time you should be concerned is if theyre basking a lot and not eating. Also, RES generally sleep in the water, so if theyre sleeping out, there may be some need for concern. Also, they should be alert and usually if you walk up to the tank they will jump in the water. Unless you disturb them a lot, eventually they will get used to it. Like turtles on display at pet stores, they generally lose their fear of people walking by.
