Pockets of fat I'm assuming, under gecko's arms.

aculeus Feb 08, 2004 09:53 AM

I have a normal gecko that has a strong feeding response, she is always hungry. She seems to be getting fat. I used to leave a bowl of 10 to 12 meal worms in with her cage daily. I have cut back her feeding to every other day in a effort to slow her down. My question is has anyone else seen this happen? My gecko is energetic and otherwise healthy, she's about 8months old.

Those pockets of fat are completely normal, and just mean youre geckos is healthy and has good fat reserves.
