I caught him lickin his vent and i seen a dot of blood. He's been kept on reptile carpet since ive had him.So i dont think its impaction. Then i tried to pick him up {which he hates] and he spit out sum grey substance. Then i put him down and he kept doin it again.Looked like he was going crazy.I got scared and took him out and checked his vent and it seemed fine.I had to clean the whole cage.Any thoughts ???

The "blood" may have been his organs and the grey stuff may have been fluid from those organs. If he's in the mood to mate, he might have been "practicing." And, mating hormones can make his behavior quirky.

Others, please correct me if I'm way off base here but I don't think there's anything to worry about.

Practicing ? So in other words he was gecko jackin off, right ?It was just sick and disgustin. Im going to buy a divider to put it between them 2 in my 20 gallon. That behavior was real weird..Please reply wit any thoughts..

it's just natural behavior. it's not sick or disgusting. and a divider is a bad idea, because then each gecko won't be getting the proper temperature gradient to self-regulate with.
