skin condition?

Have a nice yearling wamena that's just phasing to green/blue. Gonna be sweet, but has 2 - 3 small bumps on skin. Two are reddish (one which looks like a tiny pimple); the other is just a bump that carries no differentiation in color. They are barely noticeable and aren't getting larger, but I don't want to take any chances. The animal is in excellent health and has had no other skin/shedding problems. Has anyone ever had or heard about these slight blemishes? Thanks.

Has your animal been treated for parasites. It sounds to me like sub-cutanious tapeworm........different from the intestinal tape worm. This is common in imported animals and doesn't really seem to effect the animals any, but I wouldn't put them with any CB animals. Good luck.
