Is there a reason why we only feed our turtles every other day? Couldnt we feed them everyday, but only half of what we would feed them every other? Just curious. Also I have four feeders in my tank that Oregano doesnt seem to want. He chases them around, but doesnt snap at them or really try to get them. Should I leave them in there and just get more that he will eat or will he eat them sometime or another? Thanks

I don't know why they are only supposed to feed every other day either.

But about the feeder fish, I try to keep a few in the tank at all times. It won't hurt to get a few more and they certainly eat the crumbs from the turtle. I have 1 fish that's been in there for 6 weeks now and it's gotten pretty big.

Something I was doing a few weeks back. I would catch a fish with the fishnet and hold it by the tail under the water while Mike (my turtle) "caught" it out of my hand. After awhile, whenever Mike saw the net, he would start looking for fish himself and now he catches them when he wants them.
