Since Oct. my 7ft boa has shed 4 times which now she in a shed stage now making it 5 times. I feed her a colossal rat from rodent pro every other week. To me she shedding to much for an adult boa.

That does sound very strange!
you are feeding well - one every other week is adequate for an adult... deffinately not overfeeding to cause this...

strange.. guess only a vet could be sure.. maybe signs of a more serious problem..

hope everything works out well

Several years ago I had a similar situation with a pair of adult Brazilian rainbow boas. It seemed every time they finished shedding they were on their way towards another one. I later realized it was due to not having enough humidity present. The skin would dry out and need to be replaced by the next layer and so forth. In my case increasing the humidity helped resolve this condition.

boamorphs has a good point with the humitity. But I thought I would ask this just to make sure. She doesn't have mites or some kind of perisite on her skin dose she? That would also be a reason for excesive sheding.

I have her in a moonstruck cage, humidity is great in there. For the mites, I bought her as a perfect boa but when I got her she had mites and that was in november, I treated her with Black Knight and havent seen any since.
