Hi,
I want to know what species of viper this is and also if it's a juvenile or adult. Any reply is appreciated. Thanks.

it looks like a POPE'S PIT VIPER (Trimeresurus p. barati), not 100% though
Hello.
Do you have any info´s from the location of the Snake ?
Its not easy with the green Trimeresurus if you don´t know from where it is.
Regards Hans
Trimeresurus p. popeorum. Pope's Tree Viper. It is a variable species. I don't know the age of the animal in particular that you have nor its size. They are a fairly easy species to keep. Look them up on the internet you'll find a lot of info.
cheers
boy.
