i think i've seen the sold as "plica plica" a long shot. hope that help's. chris
Yes, that IS a Plica plica and hence not an agamid but an iguanid
do you know where i could find a care sheet for it?
Sorry, I don´t.
But I can give you some help:
They are relatively secretive climbers which do eat a lot of ants in the wild.
Its not necessary to feed ants, but you should try to feed lots of small, strongly chitinized insects.
They need a tall arboreal rainforest setup. Lots of dense foligae to give shelter and relatively dim lights. Anyhow, one smaller but bright and warm basking spot ir recommendable.
Females and youngsters have a slender, small and elegant appearance. But you can be very surprised if you see an old big male. These can be very massive ans I even saw a speciemn which had a body of about the size of the body of a full grown basilisk.
With respect to their needs, I would say they are a mixutere of basilisks and Gonocephalsu
