Waxy hibernation?

Jeff B Feb 09, 2004 01:18 AM

My male waxy tree frog has been going days on end sitting in one spot, and is asleep all the time. If I wake him up at night, he'll usually eat, sit in his water dish for a few hours (often singing while doing so), and go back to sleep by morning. He's still a nice shade of green and isn't losing weight that I've noticed, so is he just not as active because it's winter? That seems like it might explain his singing whenever he is awake.

Hey,

I've noticed mnie doing this as well. Mine appear as healthy as ever, so 'm not worried.
