how many cresteds does every one breeding keep

At least one male and one female. It really all depends on how much you can afford to produce and how many you do want to produce, based on how many you can realistically sell. The big breeders of crested geckos may have 50 groups of cresties, each group having 1:3 crested geckos. A small time breeder may only have one male and one female.

Right now I only have one crested gecko so breeding isn't possible yet. I hope to have at least one group of 1:3 crested geckos to start breeding. Unfortunately, I can't afford the females yet.
