I've added the first entry for our parsonii project. Posted some new pics of the new group. They are very neat animals. Click the below link to check it out.

Nice stuff man! Parsonii are an impressive species. I'm looking forward to seeing how you do with them. I would love to have a pair myself, but dang, they are a bit high for me.

When I was into chams about 10 years ago, there wasn't much known about Parsons. Have breeders learned anything since I've been away from the hobby? Last thing I heard it was like 24 months of incubations for them, any truth to this?

Take care and thanks for sharing!

There are quite a few people who have learned alot about keeping parsons. Many of them are active members of this forum. I'd be surprised if the community has not learned much after 10 years.

In regards to incubation, I've also heard that it takes close to 24 months. But you gotta figure that something humans are doing is incorrect. I'd like to know if parsonii really take that long to incubate in the wild.

This project will be a learning experience for me, as are all my chameleons. I am looking forward to it, and I will continue sharing any progress we make.

Just out of curiosity, where did you get them, were they imports or from europe? If you don't want to tell, I understand, just curious because you very rarely see them. Good luck and keep us posted!
