The Female i want to buy has gone off her food, the owner said he took her to the vet on friday and the vet gave her vitamins and an appitite stimulator but she still hasnt eaten since then
he said if i still want her i can have her for half price now or he could contact me when she starts eating again.
going off food doesnt sound real serious to me becuase Ikki my mali does it sometimes but he always goes back to eating.
she's 13 inches long, 192 grams and still active
what do you think should it still get her?

1.) How confident do feel in you Uro husbandry abilities?
2.) Do you have a seperate inclosure for her..Isolation for months if need be?
3.) Good Vet handy if needed.
Just ask yourself all the relative questions. I'm personally not opposed to taking in a potientially sick Uro. Especially if I know it wouldn't receive proper care where they are at. I'm not a rescue... I wouldn't take any speciem unless I wanted it. Been there, done that. Whichever way you decide...some Uros weren't meant to be captive and will not acclimate. Any live guaranty? How long has she been aclimated? Do you trust whom your dealing with? Ask QUESTIONS!!!...Be as informed as possible.
Good Luck & Happy Herpn'

Well I emailed for pictures and when Igot them she looked a little thin for a animal that was long term captive and treated for parasites like they said. So I asked how much the animal weigh and how long they had it. They said they didn't have a scale but the animal wasn't thin at all and they had it for two months and I said I will pass becouse I thought the animal was a captive longer than that. I don't think there being honest. good luck.

I don't think that sounds right. If they took that animal to a vet they would of took a fecal and if the animal was not eating they might of injected it with fluids and then treated it with somthing im sure. The animal is going to have a more difficult time if its shipped to you. not a good start.

Let's hope shipping is done properly. Spot and I will be thinking about her. Keep us posted.
