I cant help with the vomiting but I am concerned about the amount of room he has. At one year he should be way too large for a 20 gal and should be in at least at 50 gal if not a 70 gal. I moved my male from 20 gal to 75 gal at 6 months, and even then I probably left it too late. They need a lot of floor space for excercise and movement.

Give us some more info on diet, temps, etc and when this started happening and maybe we can help.

Off hand and not knowing any of the details above, I would get him checked for parasites.

Also..... I agree with the other person that responded. Your dragon should be in a much larger cage.

he eats fine and his inclosure is fine i been raising bearded dragons for 5 years now. he gets pellets greens crix. his calcium is fine. i think that maybe he got too cold one night that i wasnt here and the heat wasnt on. or probably parasites.

I'll second the enclosure being too small. It's like you living in your closet your entire life. Just take this in and think about it.

Everything I've ever read indicates 40gal. is minimum for an adult beardie. Do you really believe everyone but yourself could be wrong here? People who make a living raising beardies? People who have raised beardies for far longer than 5 years? People who have spent thousands of dollars on education alone regarding the husbandry of these types of animals? You truly believe what they say is wrong and you are right?

I can tell you this, if you do not listen to what the experienced folks here say, your beardie is going to have an unhappy life. Do you love your bearded dragon? Do you think it's fair to the animal who has no choice to live any other way other than the way you provide to be cramped up like that? Seriously, just shut yourself in your closet for a day and see how bad it bothers you. That will give you an idea of how much it bothers your dragon to be in a 20gal. home. Even worse, tell someone to force you to stay in there for the rest of your life.

Please don't take this post as an insult or an attack, take it as a plea on behalf of the animal you care for. Take it as a request from someone who has compassion for the way your beardie feels day to day. Take it as a sincere request to give your beardie a happy life since it's life is entirely in your hands.

I truly hope you reconsider giving your beardie a more spacious place to live and wish you and your beardie the best for the future. Just remember, how BOTH of those futures will be are completely up to you.

I will second and third what was said before. If you are keeping an adult pogona vitticeps in a 20G enclosure and have been for 5 years than I consider that animal cruelty. A Lawson's (Rankin, pagona lawsoni) Dragon might be OK in that size enclosure as an adult, so i'm hoping for your animals mental health that's what you are referring to when you say you have a bearded dragon. Either way I would still get a 40G breeder at the very least.

If in the end you do not take everyone's opinion and concern for your dragon to heart, I hope your dragon bites you good and hard in a succesful escape attempt. But I do think you will do the right thing and wish the best for you and your dragon. Let us know what route you decide to take.

OH MY GOD! i have a 115 gallon tank that him and two females share i have said this 3 times in the post. i put him in the 20 because he is sick.. thats not the reason he is sick i am asking if anyone has any suggestions. please do not respond if you are going to say anything about his tank!

Sorry, didn't see the info. I won't comment on the fact that you have a male dragon living with two females may end up causing you problems too .

Good luck!!

cause a lot of stress on the female. Everything I've read on these forums says do not keep a female with a male. The male may continually try to mate the female or injure her. Hopefully some others will express some concern on this as it seems to be a huge no-no. I don't breed any dragons that's just what I've seen.

Good luck!

3 times? Really, where did you learn to count. You never once mentioned the 115 gallon tank once in your post. If you would have just stated that in the first place and not got all defensive then no one would have cared. You came off like you were trying to hide something after people called out what sounded like cruel conditions.

have parisites they can throw up like that (seems like for no apparent reason) and their appetite can also decrease.

I would have him checked out, But I know with my other wc lizards, those symptoms can come from worms. Just a possibility .

Safest thing you can do is get him checked. But yes while he is showing signs of illness continue to keep him seperate from your others.

Sure hope you find out whats making him sick ! :0(

Let us know !!!
