RES are shedding parts of their shells. The color of the shell underneith is an off white color. The shell is still hard and they are very healthy. Any suggestions as to whats going on? Thanks for any info!

Could be mineral deposits that got under the scutes before they shedded off or scars from some shell rot that healed on it's own.
