Girlzilla- have you found a home for fulton?

Sam-N-Ella Feb 09, 2004 01:04 PM

How did it go with the people you were meeting that were interested in Fulton? I was just curious to see how it went. I hope you were able to find a family for him. That is sad what the other guy did. I wish Fulton luck for a new home.

Thanks for asking. I thought I had some adopters all set, but they got cold feet. They already have a lot of pets, and were concerned about salmonella spreading to their birds, so I guess I understand. I am still trying, - I will be interviewing someone on Feb. 14th, in fact!

Fulton is such a cutie, and it just sucks that I don't have enough money, space or time, or he would be back with me right now. It's times like this when I just feel like my life is progressing so slowly- I want a big house and a high-paying job NOW! Not a tiny apartment that I have to have a roommate just to afford. Even better, I want to win the lottery, so I can just rescue iguanas all day and not work anymore!

The biggest reason I am so annoyed at this guy who has him now, is because I keep thinking of all the toilet training and socialization I could have achieved with Fulton in the 3 months that this guy was wasting time getting bored.

Oh well... I am on a mission, and I will MAKE it happen!

I know what you mean. I am looking for property to move my 4 bedroom trailer on so I can have all the room I need. I would love to start a small iguana rescue or even a place to foster iguanas until they are adopted. For now I have enough room for maybe 2 more iggys. They say you can overnight igs. I don't know if that would be an option, but if you don't have any luck in finding Fulton a home I would be interested in giving him a good home. Is he being taken care of by the guy who has him now? I wish you and Fulton luck. Good luck on the lottery also. We can always hope can't we.

Not to answer the question for girlzilla, but she said after 3 months the guy said he was bored with Fulton. Pretty sad huh. You just have to wonder about people sometimes.
