I use bottled "spring water" or aretesian well water. So far, there have been no problems or mineral deposits. The cheaper brands such as Albertson's and Western Family seem just as good as the others.

I mix 50% spring water 50% Distilled. I do this for only that i have heard sometimes spring water may have a varing amount of minerals. If for some reason the content was ever too high it will atleast be diluted 50%.
