She is digging again!

anson Feb 09, 2004 01:53 PM

My female Nosey Be Dali is gravid again and started digging a hole to lay another clutch today.
She did not mate again since her first clutch in December so I am assuming she retained the sperm.
Since poor Salvador had not seen a female for at least 4 years he must have had plenty to give! LOL
I did not want her to lay again so soon. Was that a normal time frame for a second clutch? Her last clutch was laid Dec 23rd
Can I do something to deter her from laying another one soon or should that be it for the sperm now?

Good ol' Sal!!!
How many did she lay the first time? Did she look like she had more eggs?

but six collapsed right away.
I think I had it too dry but I added some more water and the others seem to be doing fine. No mold and no more collapsing.
