ID of Toad

I have been given a toad that was/is supposedly Bufo bufo. I am looking for confirmation. This toad is a light gray, small parotoid glands, and has conspicuous red markings in the dorsal side of its back legs. The red is hidden when sitting, but is exposed when it hops or "walks". Any suggestions would be appreciated. None of my ref. mention red markings on the legs.
