taking pics please help!!

hi all.
just to let you all know i have just got my hands on a breeding pair of tokays yesterday! only 15.00 each(i guess there is no market for them anymore(bad rep!!)
what i wanted to ask is how do you take pics of then as i tryed it and got BIT(it hurts like hell). hung on for 20 mins lol
any help.

If they are not tame take the pics while their in their tank. OUCH, not being smart. Are they CB or WC, do you know? Or have they ever been handled? Some absolutly will not tolerate being held. It helps to have raised them from when there young.

the tokays i got are wc adults so i guess there is no chan of them becoming tame?

chances are if there wc adults they wont like handling. If theve been in captivity for a long time and have been held regulary theres a chance but more than likely they will prefer to be left alone. When you do have to handle them wear some gloves to protect yourself, they dont like being caught or restained. Males will be especially aggressive if there is eggs in their home or hatchlings. They ought to make a great watch only pet. Good luck.
