Petsmart, has to do with earlier post on bad care. VERY FUNNY!

I went to the local Petsmart today to get some crix and i saw my friend was working. So i went over and we talked for about half an hour about dart frogz (his basement is full of them)and then we went into crested geckos.

Everyone remembers my post about the crested they had at the store right? It was in the same setup as the leopard geckos.

Anyway, we started talking about the latest color morphs when he mentioned that someone stole the crested gecko from out of the tank! How does someone steal a gecko!?

My friend said that it was stolen last week, and they aren't getting any more (thank goodness).

They were also trying to sell it for $200, which is why someone stole it.

Can you believe they still try to sell a albino leopard gecko for $150? Its unbeliveable.

Anyway, just wanted to share the story. I found it funny. Hopefully the robber will give the little guy a good home.

It's funny, i was gonna get a job at petco just to make a little money and try to make the reptile depot some what decent. They gave me the job and a long list of rules to follow regarding the herps. The company says what to do and how to do it. They told me to put these anoles in sand. They started eating it I told te boss i was gonna put them on news paper because they were gonna get an impaction, he said no, two days later they died. my 1st strike so he said. next shipment came bringing 2 kingsnakes. The rules said house them together, the boss said house them together, i tried to tell them that one would eat the other, they laughed. next day one was missing and the other was rather full. The vet came that friday and asked to see the anoles. long story short i had it out with the vet telling him the animals had an impaction, he told the boss it was my falt and i got fired because of bad animal care. chain stores are real bs.

they just shot themselves in the foot. I just wanted to help those poor herps. It wasn't even for the money

I would sue for unlawful dismissal. You also could show the list of 'herp care' rules as evidence your manager was clueless on how to properly care for their animals.
