I'm located in belgium.
What do you mean?

Well over their your probably safer..Their a real easy frog to keep and breed just keep them like you would any aurtus of tink. The reason I say be careful is because over here in the us some one could get in a allot of trouble with them as their never was a legal export of these.

There is a nice thread on frognet going on about this very thing. I disagree with the whole idea. Why not release a few to get the public started. Then over time there would be no reason smuggle them. I would love to see other species in the US. After I get some more experience I would love to get some of the other rare breeds. I have also read that some other countries are starting up frog farms to sell. This could be interesting, but how would we contact these farms, and what does it take to get the frogs to the US?

I've been reading the frognet discussions, too. It's certainly worth a look and there's lots of good information and of course, differing opinions.

If I remember correctly the galacs were never legally exported either. Does anyone know if anyone got in trouble for doing that? I think that wild caught frogs were shipped to Germany in the mid to late 90's and then captive bred animals were distributed to the United States so technically all of the galacs that are for sale are offspring from illegally smuggled frogs too.

I heard that someplace also. How hard is it to get frogs from Europe? They seem to have more there.
